Me too, but to make it happen the ruling class should stop parasitizing on human suffering. Cause, you know, there is China-Taiwan conflict is being prepared. There gonna be many more juicy conflicts to milk.greenmark wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 4:42 pmI just wish we could put all this nonsense behind us and get on with selling each other stuff, collaborating to make the world better. For sure the human effort involved in the killing spree in Ukraine could have helped a great many people if directed differently. Such is life, but sad.

So we agree, nearly. Yay! Peace and working shoulder to shoulder is the only way.napshnap wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 4:49 pmMe too, but to make it happen the ruling class should stop parasiting on human suffering. I agree. This "nasty China" agenda is a bit childish. If they wanted to be a military superpower they would be already. Spending on weapons is an isolationist mentality.
In what way is China isolationist? China relies entirely on trading with the rest of the world. Blowing the rest of the world up would be like shooting yourself in the foot.
I despair of our world "leaders" right now. They're all posturing cocks that are failing to get to grips with the real issues. We should be working together now more than ever. Instead we're squandering human and material resources to kill each other. Sometimes I wish I could head off to the Outer Hebrides and be self-sufficient and be insulated from these p****s.
I'm tired of this disgustingly hierarchical world, I want an anarchy so bad!greenmark wrote: ↑Sun Feb 19, 2023 9:57 pmI agree. This "nasty China" agenda is a bit childish. If they wanted to be a military superpower they would be already. Spending on weapons is an isolationist mentality.

Or... at least, meriticratical (with a strong focus on intelligence and mental health filtering) democracy.

Biden is in Ukraine. Wonder what would happen if a stray Russian missile came close or killed him, WW3 ?
You should know by now that I like word puns, Hans Stolenburger, Matt Handoncock, Giovanni Infantile, etc.greenmark wrote: ↑Mon Feb 20, 2023 2:16 pmI'm guessing that "poxy" was a typo, but actually probably critiques war better than the word you intended.![]()

Russian forces have sustained "very high losses" in their assault on the eastern town of Vuhledar, according to UK intelligence.

I imagine they knew when he was onroute and leaving so not to start firing missiles or Drones. The US may have informed Russia. Otheriwse we could of ended up with WW3 if the US president was killed by a rouge Russian/Iranian missile or Drone. I think its well known within security circles that if a foreign state kills a sitting US president, even by accident then they would launch all hell.
