How long can Potter hang on.
5 years. A contract is a contract.
Which will include a severance clause. Kerching! for Potter. But obviously being sacked would dent his ego and maybe reputation
Looked and sounded a broken a man in his post match interview, Chelsea fans baying for blood. Surely he won't see the weekend out

Aye. Deflated and subdued. Lot of players in that changing room are taking the mickey.

This Newcastle price against United just goes to show how far they've come as a team, without even spending that much yet

Brendan Rogers gone at Leicester

I've noticed they are not playing his style. I think they're now relegated.

Along with Southampton and West Ham horrendous game  The relegation battle is going right down to the wire wouldn't surprise me that it's still not settled with 10 mins to go on the last day.

West Ham have a game in hand and the personnel to survive if they choose to. If they go, imagine the clamour to get Declan Rice. I'd have him at LFC in the blink of an eye. He'd be perfect. High energy, great defensive midfielder, can contribute to the attack. Great character.

The bottom of the table this year is the most unpredictable I can remember. 2 wins and you're soaring up the the table.
And Everton now in the bottom 3.
Obviously 3 have to be relegated but the current 3 are big clubs in their catchment. Can't really understand what has happened at Saints and Everton an Leicester.
But maybe we should applaud this. This is the definition of the argument against the European Super League. Jeopardy and genuine competition.

Everton appear to have gone from a club spending big and with European ambitions to a club performing heroics to maintain survival every season. It must be taking its toll mentally on both players and fans alike

Well I've said before the perfect league table for me is LFC 1st, Tranmere 2nd, and Everton 3rd. Let the rest do what they like. But it will obviously never happen. For Everton to be relegated would break my heart and that's not sarcasm. I was brought up alongside EFC fans so it would genuinely be a terrible moment.

Felt that way when Leeds got relegated back in 03/04, then spent 16 years in the wilderness...

Getting used the trials and tribulations, but nowadays, the money in the premiership is a too big to miss out on and you have to stay there by hook or by crook.

The record of relegated teams bouncing back up the following year is not too bad though, supported by the parachute payments..etc

Watching Newcastle v United and thinking the potential spending power of both these teams in the next few years could be frightening

He'd be a good replacement for Henderson in the midfield maybe only get a season or two more out of him before he possibly retires

Cracking game of football Newcastle with a fully deserved win there all in for a top 4 finish.

The more I see Weghorst for Man U the more I think he's nowhere near good enough, he's average at best on a good day.

I think Newcastle's owners are being a little conservative at the moment with the ownership still being questioned. CL football next season could be the catalyst to get the cheque book out, when they do they'll make Man city look like paupers.
