Could this be the year Man C finally do it? I hope they get through.
Erm...although I might have to compare Man C v Bayern ownership and overall ethical behaviour - sheesh who thought being interested in football could require so much homework .
I much prefer the German ownership model along with there cheap ticket prices. It's what fans should be striving for in England but to much greed
Easy choice for most people I would imagine, a club owned by fans or a state-owned club that is under investigation (yet again)

No offense to City fans but City winning stuff just sort of stains that whole competition

Ideally you want to judge teams on merit only, but this is rather difficult these days
I support Darlington were fan owned in the National League North. We have our financial limitations which makes it difficult to progress back to the football league (renting a ground is the main one) but at least the club is sustainable and no longer susceptible to scrupulous owners who previously have wiped our club off the face of the earth more than once.

I absolutely detest all the media clubs like Wrexham get because a pair of American actors have pumped millions in and it's sold as a fairy story when it's anything but. Salford story was no different when the class of 92 got involved.

There's fan owned clubs who get no media attention but have sustainable models Darlington, Chester, Wimbledon, Chesterfield, Exeter City to name a few but there not vanity projects, proper clubs owned by the fans for the fans but that story doesn't sell papers.

What do we reckon tonight?

Would be something of biblical proportions if Chelsea get anything other than a good hiding tonight.

I agree, but sadly if a sugar daddy show's up we fans can't welcome them fast enough, and then it may work out or you have a Hicks and Gillett or Glazer scenario.
The German model makes more sense to me. But the EPL "product" is so successful globaly I don't see it changing soon. And that impacts on the lower leagues in a bad way.

No delays, random suspensions, liquidity, volume or protection against fast pics on betdaq (correct score market).

I've made 19 pence in 31 minutes. :D

If Chelsea can limit the damage tonight, they may be able to turn this tie around.

They've played a lot better than I expected, agree if they keep it to 1-0 it'll be as good as they can hope for but there totally devoid of anything going forward

Only by radio. Chelsea haven't had a sniff. This Real team will be obstinate at Stamford Bridge and pick Chelsea off if given the chance. But I wouldn't bet my house on that. :-)

Bookie logos to be removed from the front of Premiership shirts but not until 2026, understandably. It's three years work scrubbing off all those logos. :)

Token gesture by the PL possibly because the Government haven't got the clout to take on gambling firms or the PL in the white paper and a deals been done. Clubs have agreed to still sign new deals with betting firms until 2026, after 2026 they can still advertise gambling firms on shirt sleeves along with stadium LED advertising.

The agreement is between current PL clubs so lets say Luton or Middleborough went up in 2026 there not part of the agreement and can do what they like with shirt sponsorship as it's voluntary as can any other club really.

Complete waste of time IMO

Bit of a pain in the bum for Ray Winstone.

Very bizarre pre-match market in Colombia.

A goal changes everything! Really?

You should try trading the OU markets Mr Commentator!
