"the War Game" was even worse as it might happen one day.
Look at it on the plus side ... as weapons have become more and more powerful less and less will survive so overall there will be less suffering! :)

So Putin is going to nuke the UK? Get a grip! Russians have been operating globally for yonks. Putin knows the score, the nuclear is certain death for millions of the people he claims to be protecting. And miilions more. It's just posturing. And both sides can posture because they both have the power to wipe out humanity.

I didn't say Putin was going to nuke the UK in my last comment ?

Don't be harsh, not everybody has a bomb shelter so we need to calm ourselves sometimes!

I did say last year that I basically had proof British Special Forces were operating in Ukraine but everyone on here said I was talking bollox.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-65245065

What should please the BoJo haters is that on this one he is banged to rights as he was asked on 3 occaisions in Parliment if British Forces, including special were operating inside Ukraine. On all occasions he said NO. That is probably more important and serious than lieing about a cake party.

But the suggestion (or fact) that the SAS have been active in Ukraine is incendiary. But I guess the Russians know it and respond accordingly. The nuke suggestion from me was as a result of the Putinesque rhetoric about the consequences of NATO intervention in Ukraine.

"In line with its standard policy on such matters, the UK's Ministry of Defence has not commented, but in a tweet on Tuesday said the leak of alleged classified information had demonstrated what it called a "serious level of inaccuracy".

"Readers should be cautious about taking at face value allegations that have the potential to spread misinformation," it said. "

That's the MOD talking bollox and trying to play down the situation, like they normally do. They know full well the troops were there and what they were doing.

I think the fact of the "leaking" of this info has more to it than seems obvious. Is the internet such a reliable source?
The Pentagon saying the documents are real doesn't strike me as being remotely reliable in the current situation. It could suggest NATO trying to disrupt and misinform Putin about Ukraine's Spring offensive. Offensive being about recovering soveriegn territory of course. (Ceded to Ukraine by Putin's predecessors lets not forget).

No doubt Russia will pounce on this and there'll be more nuclear threats from some of the crack pots over there but they'll conveniently forget they sent two assassins to the UK armed with novichock and committed murder.

In reality special forces will be there to train/advise the Ukrainians from afar and would very much question they've engaged any Russians.

It will be interesting to see if Labour pushes the government on this. I have seen some of the leaked documents on discord. They do look real or it could be one of the biggest cons in military history. But Washington does seem rather worried about it.

I reckon Trump is responsible for the leak. He uses the back of top secret documents as notepaper.

If they have some common sense they won't, don't want to inflate the situation further in front of all and sundry and possibly put our troops at further risk, if there still there now of course.

Very embarrassing for the Americans.

Ukraine receives 500 x JDAM 2000lbs smart bombs from USA. Each one is capable of destroying anything within 1km squared.

Not sure I would want to be on the receiving end of one of those. Let alone 500 of them.

Me thinks that’s going to mean allot of dead Russians.

One of these days, one of the Russian guards that do the high-kick march towards the door before opening it for Putin will kick him in the nuts. :D
