Had a look and Jerry apparently said it was '98% real', if that's true I can't believe it, it seemed less real than WWE
I know someone very experienced in counselling and her assessment of this genre is that they must have a great deal of support behind the scenes. To expose people with relationship issues without that support would be totally unethical.
It's like arranging dog fights and having a vet present.
 That's as perfect a description as I can imagine.

Aren't we lucky to have a modern king opting for a scaled-down coronation. He's only going to spend £100M, nearing double the cost of the queen's coronation in real terms.

ASDA need to hire some younger girls at the self-service checkout. Waiting for one of the older women to come over and clear my beer reminds me of trading football with a 12-second delay.

It's hard to believe in democracy when even with a big poll lead the district and parish seats in my area are uncontested. It's so Tory you could put Gary Glitter on the ballot and he'd win. In other areas in sure there's Tories who feel their vote is equally irrelevent so it's not a partisan comment.

Agreed Shaun but you have to have constituencies otherwise it becomes a pseudo referendum for a party/leader with I guess MP's appointed like in the Euro elections based on percent total vote.

Least worst really as it is. Appointed MPs wouldn't necessarily have the same local connections. And there literally wouldn't be a way to vote someone out if people were selected by the party to just go and reign somewhere.

What disappoints me more is the ward being uncontested, not even a chance to express an opinion even if it is a minority one.

So much for fears of a cashless society; two shops near me only accept cash! One's a pharmacy, so I had to walk out in pain without remedy cos I didn't have cash on me. Shouldn't be allowed.

As far as I'm concerned, we'll be a cashless society when kebab shops start accepting cards. Then I can do away with it altogether. :)

We managed before. Only cash should be allowed imo, people know what they're spending then instead or just a bleep and then debt, and banks and god knows who aren't tracking everything you do.

Being Devil's Advocate there as usual ;) and I do sympathise really, I thought you were the same generation as me where you were programmed to never leave the house without some change for the phonebox and an emergency £20 note in the glovebox? I get the opposite though, I only carry cash and on a recent trip to London I couldn't buy anything with it !

I'm actually in favour of cash being retained and widely used - I just meant there should be an electronic option in a place like a pharmacy.

BTW, I'm likely older than most on here. ;)

OK, didn't realise "uncontested" ... that's unacceptable, someone should stand.

Well after saying we shouldn't bet, freedom to smoke is under threat too (but they're too chicken to ban drinking). But the argument about the cost to the NHS is bollx.

It is estimated that smoking has cost the NHS in England £2.6 billion per year

Tobacco duties are levied on purchases of cigarettes, hand-rolled tobacco, cigars and other forms of tobacco. In 2023-24 we estimate that tobacco duties will raise to £10.4 billion

So Tories are interfering with gambling freedom, Labour proposing interfering with smoking freedom. There is no democracy. And who's paying for all the extra pension and elderly care for all these people living till they're ancient?

I havent bought cigs or paid UK duty on them for years. Just meet my Newhaven to Dieppe man in the pub on a Friday and get my months supplies at half the cost. :)

I heard the coronation is going to accelerate becoming a republic and there could be a vote as early as next month!

It was music to my ears until I realised they were talking about Jamaica.
