Ben Wallace advised Zelenskyy to demonstrate more gratitude if he wants the West's continued support.
That's exactly what I was thinking when Zelenskyy blasted NATO as "absurd" for not giving him a timescale to join. He can't give a deadline for when the war will end. Talk about looking a gift horse in the mouth!

Apparently, he spent 11 hours travelling to meet Zelenskyy only to be given a list of required equiptment. Even Amazon let you order online.Archery1969 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 2:26 pmUK defence secretary told Kyiv 'I’m not Amazon' over weapons requestDerek27 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 12, 2023 1:40 pmBen Wallace advised Zelenskyy to demonstrate more gratitude if he wants the West's continued support.

A senior Russian general has been killed in a missile strike in Ukraine, Russian sources have said.
Lt Gen Oleg Tsokov is said to have died in a strike on a hotel housing Russian military commanders in Berdyansk, on Ukraine's occupied southern coast.

A top Russian general says he has been removed from his post in Ukraine after telling military chiefs the truth about the dire situation on the front line.
Maj Gen Ivan Popov was the commander of the 58th Army, which has been fighting in the southern Zaporizhzhia region.
In a voice message, Maj Gen Popov said he raised questions about high casualty rate and lack of artillery support.
"It was necessary either to keep quiet and be a coward or to say it the way it is," he said.

I was just going to say that, he complained about the lack of radar to detect incoming munitions as well.greenmark wrote: ↑Thu Jul 13, 2023 8:22 pmhttps://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-66185545

I didn't see the spelling of his name but I thought it was General Pop-Off.

The Ukraine/Russia (or is that Putin) situation gets more complex as time goes by. Just getting the first inkling that people are beginning to object. But Putin is staying firmly in that background. Wagner and now a senior General have criticised Putin's regime's approach. Are the vultures circling over Putin? Reminds me a bit of the rebellion within the German military against the Nazi's.
