Retiring servicemen, boo hoo. Maybe if you go over to a foreign country "uninvited" with guns and grenades then you get what you deserve.

I think you may need to straighten your thinking. Whether our servicemen were invited or not into the foreign country as you put it should have no bearing on it. They were ordered to do so by our Government' and it should be our Governement's responsibility to care for them.arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 13, 2023 12:03 pmRetiring servicemen, boo hoo. Maybe if we treated them the same as we treat our retiring servicemen they wouldn't be so keen to come!
And as for invitations ... I don't believe Hitler invited us into Germany so the Allied Forces were wrong to bring him down then, yes?
BTW I don't recall us inviting the illegal boat people!

Pretty sure I don't need advice on my thinking from the guy who has been trading for at least 7 years and still doesn't understand how the market movesfirlandsfarm wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 8:59 amI think you may need to straighten your thinking.arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 13, 2023 12:03 pmRetiring servicemen, boo hoo. Context: I was just pointing out how your comment did not stand up to logical analysis ... nothing to do with trading!
Never mind and do feel free to try again.
I can't fly but don't have a problem sitting in a comfortable cabin at 40,000 feet, nor can I swim but have no problem standing on a vessel out of sight of land, never mind a vessel moored up, anchored to the seabed and tied to the shore.
Complain about the conditions of the vessel and legionella by all means, but arguing that you can't swim...

And I'm offering evidence for how someone who doesn't know how to trade is pontificating on a trading forum about more things he has no clue about.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 4:03 pmTrading: Oh dear, yet another fine example of someone who doesn't read what somebody says but responds based on what they think he may have said!!arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 9:44 amPretty sure I don't need advice on my thinking from the guy who has been trading for at least 7 years and still doesn't understand how the market moves![]()

Know nothing and incompetent - are you a Tory MP?
Meanwhile back at the ranch our "government" .

Why do we have to suffer this incestuous Tory squabbling? 13 years of failing and greed (other than covid vaccine rollout). But they sanctioned Brexit. Great job there! How stupid do you have to be to continue with this utter bunch of self-serving w***ers?

Well |I will leave it for others to decide but what trading has to do with what has morphed into a political discussion I don't know ... instead of demonstrating that the only conversation you can have is one that is based on insults why not go away and study the language then at least you might make relevant contributions.arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 12:12 pmAnd I'm offering evidence for how someone who doesn't know how to trade is pontificating on a trading forum about more things he has no clue about.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 4:03 pmTrading: Oh dear, yet another fine example of someone who doesn't read what somebody says but responds based on what they think he may have said!!arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 9:44 am

We've already talked about my studying, and you had a problem with that. So which is it? Can't be both dummy! You can barely string a coherent argument together, contradicting yourself from one message to the next.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 8:42 pmwhy not go away and study the language then at least you might make relevant contributions.arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 15, 2023 12:12 pmAnd I'm offering evidence for how someone who doesn't know how to trade is pontificating on a trading forum about more things he has no clue about.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Mon Aug 14, 2023 4:03 pm

Your next tactic is to storm off, saying you haven't got time for this. The usual retreating bluster.
You can't trade, you vote for a party of shit heads, you're a Tory MP

OK, so you think throwing insults at someone is 'stringing a coherent argument together'arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 16, 2023 8:41 amWe've already talked about my studying, and you had a problem with that. Saying that I don't intend to reply further is not 'storming off', I can say it quietly as I am now. I can't see any point in continuing to point out your flaws, you clearly see yourself as always right so I'm happy for you.
You can't even get the trading issue right! I don't trade, never have (that's another thing you keep getting wrong!) and I'm still waiting for you to explain how my trading ability has anything to do with my reference to your illogical post. Are you alexmr2 in disguise?
I know I have form in thread friction, but can I say I always look at your posts. You both have insight and intelligence beyond my own. I would much prefer you to dedicate your energy to exploration/debate of ideas rather than knocking chunks off each other. Just my opinion.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Wed Aug 16, 2023 1:21 pmOK, so you think throwing insults at someone is 'stringing a coherent argument together'arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 16, 2023 8:41 amWe've already talked about my studying, and you had a problem with that. Andrew Malkinson could have been released from prison 13 years ago if the CPS investigated new DNA evidence, while Starmer was at the helm!
Don't know if he had any involvement with the case but I'm surprised the dirt isn't flying like it does with previous cases under his watch.

I imagine many people don’t want the truth coming out about what really happened.Derek27 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 16, 2023 5:11 pmAndrew Malkinson could have been released from prison 13 years ago if the CPS investigated new DNA evidence, while Starmer was at the helm!

- Police stitch up
- Police covering up mistakes
- Police losing evidence and/or hiding it
- CPS and Police collusion
- CPS not reviewing documents properly
- CPS ignoring new evidence
- Courts refusing to look at new evidence
- Payroll board not reviewing court documents and new defence evidence
I suspect many people should face prosecution but it could run into hundreds of them.
Best to try and pay him off and hope it all goes away but it won’t because he bringing out a book.
But out of all of them I would say the Police are most at fault with this case which could/should result in Greater Manchester Police being disbanded asap.
