RANT CORNER
I've often ranted on here about the bin men spilling my food waste outside my door and leaving me to clear it up. But last night, at about 5:00 it happened again, bin lying on its side with the contents spilt out. I thought it was too early for them to have emptied it so I but it back in the bin and when I got up this afternoon it was emptied.

That sounds like a fox to me. Is this a big green wheelie bin or one of those dinky 1ft high jobs?Derek27 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 1:03 pmI've often ranted on here about the bin men spilling my food waste outside my door and leaving me to clear it up. Well what did the police say???
It's a food waste bin, about 18 inches high. But it was locked and I've never seen a fox around my area.greenmark wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 1:12 pmThat sounds like a fox to me. They won't find any in mine. Egg shells, potato peelings, mouldy parmesan cheese, etc.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 2:17 pmGot any homeless people in your area? There's decent unadulterated stuff in food bins.
I saw a fox recently, at about 6.10am right there.

We're rural and never see any, they only go into towns when times are hard. Cities have their own populations though.
Think again. They're very opportunistic. I'm sub-rural and some animal regularly attacks my bins. I've seen a fox trotting past my conservatory. They're like dolphins - always there but you're lucky to spot them.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 3:20 pmWe're rural and never see any, they only go into towns when times are hard. Sorry, it's funnier when Chandler says it

A human would surely not leave a mess behind. Could be a fox or a badger even.Derek27 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 1:30 pmIt's a food waste bin, about 18 inches high. Sadly, I am as fascinated by this as your nutty stormchasing neighbour is with lightning.

The word "shit" emerged in the Covid inquiry. Anchor woman had to interrupt to apologise and advise that they're not in control of the language used at the hearing. What century is this?
