Just had a look at Villas home fixtures; Sheff Utd, Burnley, Newcastle, Man Utd, Forest, Spurs, Wolves, Brentford, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Liverpool.
With so many teams being wishy washy formwise, their winning run at home could go on for quite a bit.
Today's Football
Haven't noticed anything drastic with football on the odd occasions I'm up early enough to trade there, but if horse racing is anything to go by, Aussie markets do trade differently and there are more crazy backers throwing lumps of cash around.andy28 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 3:02 amNot sure if anyone follows the A League but there are some strange things happening ( well in my eyes anyway) in the overs market. I was in the 2.5 market and had 1K matched so was just watching and some one came in with an 11k back bet at around 1.8. Since then I see this quite a bit. The over 4.5 had 13k dumped in at around the same odds.
Not sure if it is a bookmaker that's doing this or a punter. I have noticed that it takes a few mins to get thru the road block but after it is all gone the odds shot up quite quickly I guess it is doing that to settle back to the norm

Possibly so having a quick look their games actually average 3.87 goals per game (excluding yesterday) so that wasn't a bad guess at 4 I can imagine their match win odds being very low most weeks.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 9:11 pmOK, good to know Michael, thanks. So it that the reason. people trade the CS market rather than the Match result?Michael5482 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 3:35 pmNorway, Bodo Glimt games on avergae are high scoring season after season, their games touch around 4 goals per game.firlandsfarm wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2023 3:23 pmBodo Glimt 0-0 Molde ... I have no idea what country, what league but ... I've not seen a game where the Correct Score market is £20.5k matched while the Match Market has only £13k matched! Not seen that before!
I only bother with Norway/Scandinavian football for a couple of months when the winter leagues have finished tbh

Can't see Spurs throwing this one away, Newcastle are non existent.
