It's mad that the agents of Chaos in Klopp and Big Ange outperform their xPTS and Pep and Arteta who look for more control are pretty much bang on. Also it seems that the xPTS outperformance in general at the top is due to the boys at the back. Would love to see the historical figures for past seasons to see if there is anything in it.
This is a huge game for Liverpool. Anfiield will be bouncing. I think 2-1 Liverpool. I can't see them not conceding but the fans will carry them as high as they can.
Hate laying Liverpool, you get into some weird situations with mixed emotions

Bit of a Frodo moment there, when Klopp dropped his ring
Deserves huge credit to challenge again so soon, thought it was going to be another transitional season after the midfield overhaul.
But team looks almost complete, for me just a question of who leads the line and who plays as holding mid.
Newcastle were just a lucky passenger this match, it felt more like Liverpool playing against their own demons, after disappointing performances against Arsenal an United. The most wasteful performance yet but they're getting there!

Rooney didn't last long at Birmingham, disastrous appointment. Sacrificed a very good start to the season just to get a big name in who has a very poor management CV.

I think him taking the job in the first place shows a lack of respect for Eustace and a lack of basic nous. Eustace was well liked, it is unsurprising that the players aren't performing. 5th to 20th purely due to a crap management decision is shocking.Michael5482 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2024 10:58 amRooney didn't last long at Birmingham, disastrous appointment. Question is: who's next. Brady et al seem to be applying NFL hiring strategy to the EPL. That won't work.

If Getafe and Rayo Vallecano scored goals as good as their play acting this would be one hell of a game, but they don't and are serving up one diabolical half of football.
What are you watching it on?Michael5482 wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2024 4:31 pmIf Getafe and Rayo Vallecano scored goals as good as their play acting this would be one hell of a game, but they don't and are serving up one diabolical half of football.
