I'm having my first drink and pack of fags for just over 14 days, so it's like a 14-day forecast to me. :D

(Amazing how much extra cash you got left over when you stop paying duty! )

If you hang about in pubs along the south coast of England on a Friday afternoon then you will often be asked if you want some cheap smokes, wine and beer. All from France or so I am told. 🤣

IKR, must be a big perk nowadays especially :)

It's a good run tho! Hopefully you get back on the wagon, the trick is to stop enjoying it. What helped ease my own oral fixation was chewing gum iirc, and educating yourself can always go a long way too, didn't really know how incredibly toxic alcohol is to our cells etc.

But keep at it, health scares are a very good motivator, without discipline we are just slaves to our worst impulses. I don't allow myself breakfast without a workout session beforehand, yeah would be really nice to grab a quick bite sometimes but you have to earn it first :)

I used to walk before breakfast for an hour or so, communing with nature, crossing paths with a few like-minded souls. The world before humans start milling around is really very peaceful.
But a workout before brekky. Nope. I tried running 1st thing. Good grief. I felt so slow and knackered for the rest of the day.
I could (and did) run several miles, several times a week, for 30 years, but not 1st thing. Just a metabolic quirk I guess.

I used to weight train before breakfast but I couldn't do it now. You need some calories and protein before starting.

Yes don't go overboard. The clash with the tomato sauce seems to work, I was pleasantly surprised

chilli cheese? I didn't know such a thing existed. But that's another snack concept for me.
Very finely sliced chilli and.... comte, a good cheddar, taleggio...cheesey melty. Maybe some knockout tomato too. Could work. Thanks.
