It's above my pay grade. You tell me.
Progress... You have agreed you have not a clue.

Next question: How does encouraging people to riot help?
How does encouraging people to riot help?
Well lets' wait and see, shall we

Meanwhile, over 100 marches planned tonight.

So, if you’re out and about, stay safe.

The problem is you cant deport them if their asylum case fails. There is no returns agreement with France or other EU states. France already said the UK would need to get an agreement with the EU and it wouldn't be possible to get all 28 members to agree as Spain, Italy, Germany and Hungary have all got problems with migrants.

So, what do you do, put them on planes to Afghanistan or Syria ?, that would cost a fortune and those countries may well not accept them.

The problem, if you want to call it that, is global and nobody has an answer.
When all avenues are closed to them , appeals etc, they can be deported, I'm not talking about returns to a safe country. Between 2010 and 2020 about 40% of failed asylum claim were returned either voluntarily or enforced.

"In the year ending 30 September 2023, the top nationalities among those returned were Albanian (20%), Indian (15%), and Brazilian (12%)"

The majority of people coming from Syria, Afghanistan etc are genuine asylum seekers, many have left more more behind than they'll be given by the UK government. There's no denying there are economic migrants but the sooner asylum claims are dealt with the better for everyone , freeing asylum seekers to earn their way rather than simply rely on handouts which only reinforces the notion for some they're only here for benefits..
You can only return them if you know where they came from. Albania, Brazil is easy. But many are chucking their passports over the side while coming from France. Under EU law you can’t return them to France. Therefore trying to workout where they came from originally would be a processing nightmare. Children unaccompanied cannot be deported or returned.

Looks a bit like ....er what...to me. People wandering around waiting for something. And I have to confess this is what pisses me off. Ignore bad behaviour. Let the police deal with it. Don't blur the situation The cops don't need you. Stay away.

I hope I am wrong but I think everyone might get caught off guard here. There is allot of in-line chat about the list being a diversion from the real targets…

Possibly find things will be more targeted now with smaller groups attacking random shops/businesses/people from far right on immigrants and Muslims and Muslims on far right. They know the police have sorted themselves out to police the larger gatherings but know they can't protect everything and everyone on an individual level. Some criminals are thick as mince others are more clever and organised.

Starmer's making a right pig's ear of this. The army should have already been deployed across the country, ready to assemble where necessary.

You mean the army of police officers or real Armed Forces ?

Just saw footage of an 18-year-old throwing bricks at the police. When he was pinned down and handcuffed he screamed, "I'm a child. I'm a child".

The real armed forces. No disrespect to the police, but they are outnumbered, overstretched, don't have the tools or resources (don't know why they don't even have a supply of tasers), and clearly aren't able to maintain order.

To police a civilised society, you need one police officer to every thousand civilians. To police a restless society that's out of control, you need one in fifty!

ok, i did post a long thread, stating the reasons why it wont happen unless its a supporting role to protect buildings while the police arrest everyone. The police cant protect buildings and at the same time try and arrest people.

If you mean the Armed Forces taking control and getting into punch-ups or using live rounds then that will never happen.

The last time the Army went up against people rioting was 1908. 600 soldiers on horse back, with long swords cut down 200 people. It wasn't a good look back then and it wouldn't be now for the UK in this century.

Only takes 1 soldier to panic and open fire and the country would be in serious anger etc.
