Hopefully we are now back into political debate. Michael has highlighted issues that need to be addressed. But we knew this already Equality of opportunity has been smashed on the the anvil of the free market. You can't roll back 14 years in 5 weeks.
If we all pull together as a team, it could be a monster.
agreed.. Michael really expressed the zeitgeist pretty well i feel, even if it wasn't from the playbook that i read. fair do's tbh
There's issues on both sides and I don't condone both smashing hotels up, attacking police and I don't condone the antisemitism and hate that goes on on these counter protests (caller on LBC earlier chased by pro Palestine supports at one last night and we seen the Labour councillor issue).

It's crazy we have Muslims to scared to go anywhere because of the far right, people scared to go out because of Muslims now looking for far-right and Jews scared to go out on a Saturday because of pro Palestine Muslims. There's clearly an issue with the far right and we've seen the Government dealing with it they need to deal with the radical Muslim issue but won't and worse than that won't even acknowledge it.

In the middle of this is the "normal" British public who just want a decent job, own their own house, one holiday a year, good health service, good education for their kids, just a chance in life it isn't much to ask! If they delivered this no one would give a toss about immigration but when they spend 8 million a day on immigrants and take the winter fuel allowance off pensioners people are rightly pissed off. Labour plan to "scatter" immigrants all over the country is just kicking the can down to local councils.

The Governments answer to all this will be Social Media is to blame, we jailed x amount of people and showed them we are the dogs bollocks along with more authoritarianism legislation sneaked in nothing else to see here.

I can’t really argue with any of that.

But then if you look at the happiest countries to live in the world, the UK is not in the Top 5, Top 10 or Top 15.

Yes, it’s Finland. Who can protect 88% of its population in the event of a nuclear war. The UK can’t protect 1%.

Labour MP Lauren Edwards in trouble now for resurfaced tweets calling Estonians "retards" Bit of a potential hate crime for the police to deal with.

It's OK Starmer playing high and mighty banging everyone up but his issues are mounting up now people will quite rightly want "the full force of the law" applied here also. If it was a Reform MP they'd be hell on.

Scandinavians country's are more efficient than the Germans the only thing they haven't nailed is the price of a pint it was around £11 when I went to Stockholm. I'd rather get nuked than pay £11 for a pint again

A good example would be you, sionascaig, greenmark, Derek27 ( who I define as the 'usual suspects.) being all together 'morally' culpable
If you think a judge would deem calls for people to "riot" morally culpable you have lost the plot completely. They are more likely to call it terrorism & those involved terrorists.

Or is your point the folk calling on riots are mentally deranged and so should face a lesser charge as per the example you give?

Yes but it’s all relative to the average wage in Finland. Back in 1998 I made the mistake of visiting, taking 10 people out from the office to a pub. 1st round cost me £127.00 for 11 drinks, when finished they all left. Next day, Mark we don’t buy rounds in Finland but thanks. I didn’t have enough to get a taxi to the airport. Luckily someone gave me a lift. 😂

I think FFS needs to watch his back as well. A 55-year-old woman has been arrested for spreading false information on social media, namely, about the immigration status and nationality of the Southport attacker. :D

Talking of social media, messages between far right knobheads suggest they turned up to the events, saw how many counter-demonstrators were already there and bottled it. With 100 events planned, they were probably spread too thinly as well.
