Creating my own Xg, I had the final score 5-1 Leeds (got the amount of goals correct).
When you adjust it with the actual FT score, then 4-2 seems reasonable....
He did say he needed a rest from competitive football at some time....

When he's on it ANYONE would have him. But you may have a better appreciation of footy politics.
I dunno Mark, I'm still not convinced on him. Barca team, he walked into one of the best squads in the world, brought a few players up from the underage sides and dominated. Bayern much the same, City much the same. All 3 clubs had plenty of spending power while he was there so they could buy any missing links. He even started with the Barca B team so it's not like he's worked his way up from the dregs - in motor terms his starter car was a 5 series BMW!greenmark wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2024 4:21 pm

And perhaps in an environment where he isn't god, it may not be so "easy".
But I'd play for him. He has a view and is relentless. And he doesn't seem to be anything other than obsessed with footy.
Not a Mourinho or Conte. Both of whom imo are totally egotistical.
I don't know either. But over the years I've noticed a trend. Successful managers are compelling when being interviewed, in their own way.Dublin_Flyer wrote: ↑Sat Aug 10, 2024 6:14 pmI dunno Mark, I'm still not convinced on him. I'd give much more credit if he'd been through the lower leagues anywhere with a mediocre team and a limited budget and worked his way up.
If he's ever to leave City I'd make a guess he'd go for Inter Miami with the other former Barca players, possibly on condition he gets 1st option at buying a franchise next time MLS extends. Then they'd be first preference for Spanish speaking players close to retirement and then dominating again![]()
