Has any one else experienced this ??
When entering markets say order £200 on Back or lay the software is putting in double the stake intermittently. Is this a bug only happens on my laptop on version 1.61
Any Suggestions. Its not a Beta version also

Do you mean manual clicks via the one-click or ladder screen? If it's just one laptop it could be a problem with the trackpad. When they start going they often register more than once every time you click.

The log says two bets were placed - it's my tracker pad that's the problem, not Bet Angel.
I hope this isn't a naive suggestion but what you could do until you get the trackpad investigated/sorted is to use a USB mouse. They're about £10 so hopefully worth trying. You can then compare results and see if it's really the trackpad that's at fault?Lynskey888 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 4:38 pmThe log says two bets were placed - it's my tracker pad that's the problem, not Bet Angel.
Two reports of martingale laptops on the same day sounds odd, but a common issue with trackpads and mice, no?Lynskey888 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 4:11 pmAre you on a Mac? I posted yesterday about exactly the same problem:

For my mice it's usually the scroll wheel that starts double-clicking eventually, since I use it to open and close browser tabs.
Would never use a trackpad over a mouse though, if I wanted precise direct control over the mouse cursor.
Software doesn't know if its running on a laptop or regular PC, as long as its compatible with the OS on a device it will run on it.
I've ran BA on several laptops and regular PCs over the years and used different versions of Windows without a single incident, also any 'glitches' with any piece of software would evident and effect everyone using it, not confined to a single device from one user

1.01 mouse error.
If so then it will only get worse. Try a new mouse.

No, not at all, that’s a good idea, ta.
Kai, I was desperate for mouse control when I started using the ladder, but I’ve grown used to the track pad over time. Maybe this is my opportunity to switch. In an ideal world, my Mac wouldn’t be impersonating a PC while I trade.
Alpha322, I always thought the unwanted double click was a problem with my hardware rather than the software. I was hoping someone could solve the issue with some clever Windows or Mac settings adjustments. I hope you find a way to eliminate the unwanted clicks.
Thanks for your replies, folks.

Alpha, my problems were intermittent - a minor annoyance - however, yesterday afternoon my track pad went into complete meltdown. It became unusable on BA with money at stake.
I took ANGELS15's advice and bought a wireless mouse. Perhaps you could do the same. It's money well spent!
