I wonder was it an always running automation on yellow card markets, and didn't take into account a horse called Yellow Card and it triggered wrongly?
That's why you check, double check, then run your automations in practice for a while to make sure everything is good!
Makes me think if I ever have the money to buy horses, they'll be named Fell, Withdrawn, Unseated just to screw the automations

The name of the horse didn’t ring any bells when James mentioned it yesterday.

I’ve done a lot of reading of historic forum threads since I started trading. Weirdly, when I was looking at old posts late last night, by pure coincidence I came across a thread where Mugsgame was complaining about being on the wrong end of the Voler La Vedette market reversal!

If you freeze-frame the head on view as early as you possibly can, another horse veers sharply, making stall 6 look like it had been empty. Maybe someone thought it was Yellow Card that was W/D, so they thought they had a free pop at affecting the book % or the BSPs.
