Oh dear, I've tried and tried but clearly I'm banging my head against a brick wall. How many times do I have to remind you I HAVE LISTED MY EVIDENCE, it's your lack of evidence that is missing here. You challenged my claim so support your challenge. But anyway, I cannot debate a point with someone who is convinced by their own denial and/or cannot understand English so it must end. You should be a Labour PM, always avoiding the question and not saying anything sensible, just a load of platitudes you once read in a book and think you can use them to prove a point. It's sad really ... I hope you take a more logical approach to your betting activities.

Would be delighted though if he [Farage] formed an English parliament and let the rest of us get on with it )
That would be the best news ever ... not Farage but the removal of the 'others' from England's coat-tails. Scotland independence ... bring it on. After the 2014 referendum there should have been a second referendum, that time of the English people, asking if we want to keep Scotland in the Union.
Donald Trump never ceases to surprise. During a Saturday rally in Nevada, the American President stated that the United States "might be an enlarged country pretty soon." Previously, Trump's comments included the desire to take control of Greenland and the Panama Canal, and even the annexation of Canada

I would settle for Farage making England officially 51st state of USA 🇺🇸

Hopefully this will put an end to it..

In a two horse race you look at the form of both horses. You have listed a number of reasons not to back Shergar but failed to say why Dobbin will win. I'm just encouraging you to complete the analysis )

Anyhoo.... Moving on...

Rachael from Accounts will be making her big "growth" announcement this week and the endlessly leaked leak is that it will include a 3rd runway at Heathrow.

Personally I'm hoping it will and Johnson fulfils his promise to lie down in front of the bulldozers and either 1. be run over or 2. be arrested & sent to jail under the very legislation he brought in to discourage protests.

However, based on recent UK infrastructure projects - if it does go ahead - I'm fully expecting it to be cancelled before completion and we end up with a very large & costly road to nowhere in the middle of London...

How do you stand on this growth initiative?

The Labour government first proposed the idea of building High Speed 2 (HS2) in 2009.

Would have been all for it if they had started in Scotland (or at least the North of Eng) !

The only growth we've had is in train strikes and train drivers pay.

And some pretty whizzy infrastructure in the South of England (at a cost)... The point being it was the North that really needed that infrastructure / investment...

The above about sums it up... £100m spent on a bat tunnel to protect unendangered bats without any assessment on whether the bats were in any sort of danger.

==> got to blame the keeper of the purse strings for that incompetence...

I had some high trees that created an enclave that bats loved on a summer''s evening. My neighbours threatened me with legal action unless I cut them back hard. The bats vanished. Spending £100m on a batshed is a totally ludicrous prioritisation of resources. But anyhow HS2 is a white elephant now that's had some of it's limbs choppped off, rendering it utterly awful value for money.

Don't see why it should, anybody worth their salt will see the logic that in a 2 horse race if one horse will not win then the other must win! Or do you advocate for no winner races?

I'm just encouraging you to think a little deeper, the lack of substantiation for your position speaks volumes.

I am amazed at how you reflect all your own weaknesses on others,

- Ask for evidence from other people, but refuse to provide it yourself when asked.
- Make up fictional positions and attribute them to others
- Make derogatory personal comments but pull up others if they do they same.
- A constant stream of excuses / deflections when asked to justify some remark

Its like you are projecting some deep unhappiness or hate into the wider world in an attempt to deflect or blame others for whatever problems you have.

Wish you well, but suggest you take a chill pill or seek some professional help.

PS I am not a labour supporter (never have been) & think they have been crap so far. Maybe you are right and they are worse than the conservatives. I just find that very hard to believe given how bad recent conservative governments have been. Unfortunately you have failed to convince me of that due to a completely one sided point of view. That said, I wont lose any sleep over it.

Yep just reading Reeve's speech she is about to give, absolutely nothing for the north bar re-generation project around Old Trafford as part of their new ground/refurb. Slim pickings for the North-East, Scotland and Northern Ireland as normal.

London is the capital of the south of England and nothing more, people in the North-East no longer see it as the capital of the UK, that is the feeling and I can say that with confidence.

Not read it yet but it seams every time Labour has an opportunity to shoot itself in the foot they take up the challenge with relish.

Politically, they have made some monumental mistakes.

I suspect even the labour supporters are looking on with horror.
