Wonder if (early) today was the last boat off the titanic
Feels like people are trying to buy the dip, may well be right but doesn't feel like Trump is backing down anytime soon.

The cost of long-term UK government borrowing hit its highest level since 1998 as Mr Trump’s tariffs threatened to destabilise Britain’s public finances.

The 30-year UK gilt yield rose as much as 16 basis points in London to 5.51pc, exceeding highs hit in January

Trump is doing this to negociate and bring people to the table, but China isn't playing ball. I wonder if they will push this as far as they can.

And if he had countries begging him to make a deal why wouldn’t he get them sorted, which would make the other countries fear that they might get left behind…or they’re lying and no one is that motivated to talk yet.

Amazing that the market thought China would just roll over.

2/3 of the UK exports to US are services, which as far as I know are not impacted by the new tariffs.

I'm sure Betfair used to have a while 'Financials'' section of markets back in the day where you could bet on market unders/overs etc.

Am I imagining this?
