Breeze is picking up which probably won't help those still out on course.

Looks the same today, some big trees swinging quite heavily on course.

Rory holding a four shot lead into the last day would have been comfortable, but Bryson just two behind is slightly uncomfortable.

The only time McIlroy held a lead into the final round was in 2011. He held a four-shot lead. However, during the final round, he shot an 80, including a back-nine 43, and ultimately finished well out of contention.

I think he has matured since then, but course management is going to be key today.

The narrative that the Masters and the grand slam and the entry into the pantheon of the legends of the game by dint of that weighs heavily is true. Whether that brings out a duck hook that costs 3 shots at some point. Or finding the water......is what pay our money to find out.
Matchplay final pairing away from home will not hinder him though hopefully. It will still probably come down to putting at some point.
No-one has ever won the masters with 4 sub 70 rounds so you would think if Bryson goes 67 then history will be made either way..... via a playoff in the dark!!!

Ideal scenario for Rory fans is Bryson falls away and is fighting with his game all round from the get go.

Worst case scenario for Rory fans is Rory plays like a drain and is powerless to do anything as Bryson plots his way round.

Ideal scenario for golf fans that want a duel is they both play well and the best man wins after lots of late night drama.

Ideal scenario for golf fans that want more runners in with a shout they both play poorly and come back to the field.

I think I want the duel but no duck hook...... :)

In 2011 he went 65-69-70 and final round was likely to be tricky when the best golf of the week was 3 days before. It was the same pattern as Greg Norman in 1996. 63-69-71 for Greg so in 2011 that was what I bet on happening as well.

Yes. Front runners course. Final pair is where you want to be unless you get wet down the stretch and give it away.
