I have noticed recently that if I am away from my pc for a few minutes BA sometimes shuts down (ie I have to reopen it and login again), even though the pc remains active and my internet pages etc are all open and working.

I have a new dell desktop and it is running windows 11.

I anyone else having this problem?

thanks

The most common reason for this is running out of disk space. Do you have plenty of free data on your C drive?

Tons of space, it's a brand new computer (and I don't use it for code breaking, gaming or downloading loads of vids etc)

357 GB of free space

You mention it happening when you are away from your PC. Have you got all the relevant 'sleep' power options on the PC set to "never"?

it sleeps after 15 minutes, but BA remains logged in when I wake it up and I don't have to open BA and login again

Also, on the two times BA shut down the pc had not entered sleep mode.
