Have been enjoying Severance on Apple TV. A little slow to get going but its ok.
It does give "oh look how smart we are for creating a show like this" vibes (a bit like Westworld) but once it gets going pacing is ok and it has kept me hooked.

That's been on my watchlist actually, love me a good dystopian setupJuiceyJones wrote: ↑Thu Sep 18, 2025 12:42 pmHave been enjoying Severance on Apple TV. A little slow to get going but its ok.

Because some of these sci-fi scenarios feel like a little sneak peek into our future

I wouldn't mind a little severance when the inlaws visit. First 2-3 episodes are slow but it does get going.Kai wrote: ↑Thu Sep 18, 2025 1:16 pmThat's been on my watchlist actually, love me a good dystopian setupJuiceyJones wrote: ↑Thu Sep 18, 2025 12:42 pmHave been enjoying Severance on Apple TV. New Superman movie is a bit of a joke. Absolute shit supporting cast. 2/7. James Gunn should not be given this much money to do things. Cavill dodged a bullet.
Yup, altho Henry Cavill is cooking up something special instead, we share a similar passion towards WH that's coming out on Amazon soonJuiceyJones wrote: ↑Mon Sep 22, 2025 7:44 pmNew Superman movie is a bit of a joke. Lulz. I watched that a couple weeks ago and tried rawdogging it (as the kids say) at the gym this entire week with no headphones, no phone. x3 people asked me if i was ok as apparently just sitting there on a bench staring at your barbell makes you look either very sad or a good bit off center.
