Starmer looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights after Trump told him to use the military to stop the boat loads of illegal immigrants getting into the UK. 🐰🚗

He was probably thinking "this guy doesn't know what he's talking about ... all you need to do is smash the gangs and have a deportation scheme approved by the courts"

I know it's a serious problem but I PMSL ... couldn't help it. The news reported that yesterday the score was given as 1021 in and 1 out!! And if that wasn't embarrassing enough the Government announced the 1 out with some pride and went into full self-congratulatory mode!   It's unbelievable how much of a joke they are and to make it worse they don't see it.

This appeared on my Facebook feed. I've no idea who this MP is or what party he represents so I've no skin here.

But have you ever seen such nonsense in your life?

Home Office loses latest bid to send ‘one in, one out’ migrant to France.

Can we just deport Keir Starmer, Angela Rayner, Mandy and the rest of the useless labour mob and have an election

Building site employer to Migrant: Do you have a digital ID card
Migrant: No
Building site employer: Can't have a job here then...
.
Brilliant – do you see the connection ?
Maybe there is a case to be made for having ID cards ..
Absolutely

1. Keep track of people entering and leaving the country 🪪
Coming today ..... Starmer calls compulsory digital ID cards an 'enormous opportunity'

Utterly moronic... (in the context of the reasons he has given)

Even KemiKaze & Nigel agree...

And, if rumours be true it will have the word "Brit" on it... Gawd...

I find it really tough to swallow that a national ID card will solve anything, I smell a hidden agenda.

After all, you can't enter the country without passport. That's the whole point of a passport as a form of ID.

Yes you can Peter ... we have up to a thousand per day doing so!

Lisa Nandy has just said it will only be required to gain work ... I have been retired for 24 years and have no intention of ever working again, paid or charitably, so why should such a card be compulsory on me?

Yup...

And you can't get "legal" job without a NI number...

I noticed that special arrangements to be made for folk without a smartphone which begs the question what's a smartphone got to do with it unless its about tracking the entire population..

==> Attend the wrong (as deemed by the current gov) protest and your card is marked.
==> Go to the bookies too often and you are a problem gambler
==> Go to the pub too often and you have a drinking problem

He will be too busy:

- fixing Brexit
- tearing down the NHS...
- repealing racism & discrimination legislation
- removing UK from international treaties that give us basic human rights
- overseeing the breakup of the UK

Given that he can't even clarify his own tax affairs it could be a tough gig...

The more I think about it the more incredible it becomes given above that he can run circles around current political opponents - jeez they are an incompetent lot...

Oh dear, and congratulations ... that must be the most unsubstantiated rant I've seen in this forum! Perhaps the only one with credibility is "fixing Brexit". Other than that where has he said he would be "repealing racism & discrimination legislation"? I'm surprised you don't seem to understand that removing us from the laws of others does not mean you remove the rights. And finally where has he said he wants the break-up of the UK? Me for one I would be happy for the Scots to go and watch them flounder in their own over evaluated belief of themselves. If it wasn't for English money they would be struggling all the way to the IMF begging for a big donation.
