No idea if it applies to ALL markets, but it shouldn't, don't see why they'd need to do it on markets that aren't impacted by goals
I think they generally void relatively quickly but can sometimes take their sweet time and do it retrospectively, either way I prefer to avoid any potential hassle by always waiting for a goal confirmation before placing bets
That way your bets shouldn't get caught in a VAR void window
If they're taking ages to fix something you can always shoot a msg to CS that they'll forward to the relevant trading team.. and ofc it costs nothing to ask for a small compensation if you feel particularly screwed over, it's better than 0
It's a shame that they don't just suspend on a goal, penalty, sending off, or any VAR, and only unsuspend upon restart. Perhaps they figure they would lose too much volume during the down period, but it would improve clarity for all. Plus they must also lose volume from people who are no longer willing to risk automating in-play anymore.
