I believe the only way that will happen is if Labour suffer sufficient defections to other parties to lose their majority and become ungovernable. But it's interesting the market feels 2028.

Farage says '"The markets are getting nervy. We’ve seen this with 10 and 30-year gilt yields. In two budgets’ time, the markets will actually force the Chancellor into what will be a genuine austerity budget, at which point the Left in the Labour Party won’t buy it

The problem now is the public won't be able to trust and believe any comment the BBC publish re the next election (or any other subject) ... and that's a fact! (see this 'eye opener': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjPlfUt4S9U). And what's the BBC's reaction ... 'we never comment on leaked documents'. So they don't deny the document exists not do they deny what it exposes. So documents could be leaked exposing all forms of misleading and untrue BBC actions and because it is leaked they feel there is no need to comment on it. They are the state broadcaster, they are respected around the world (and hopefully still are despite this). The Government should instruct and insist that the BBC explain itself and 'heads' should roll.

But they won't call it Austerity, they can't after the way they attacked others. They will just reduce the funding and claim it's not the same thing. The Labour Left will be reluctant to have an election for fear of losing their MP's salary and perks they will have planned to receive for a full 5 years. They may defect to another party and cause Labour to lose their majority but then perhaps form a of anti-Labour Labour coalition of the parties they defect to which will leave the Conservatives to team up with Reform and guess what ... we are back to 2 party politics with what's left of Labour taking the Lib Dems role!
