I'm not interested in using TPD/drones - I don't need themjamesedwards wrote: ↑Tue Nov 11, 2025 4:28 pmInteresting! Back bets using TPD or just market movement?ForFolksSake wrote: ↑Tue Nov 11, 2025 4:12 pmPure automation/data driven 'back' bets at the 'mo'jamesedwards wrote: ↑Tue Nov 11, 2025 3:45 pm
It did look like it was coming strong the take the race. Are you using drone?
... automation/data needs a 'tweak' as it was still placing 'back' bets on Spike Jones when it wasn't going to win
... which 'drone' service do you use if you don't mind me asking ?
There's only one main drone feed, but different ways of getting it. I get mine direct from the source which is the lowest latency, but pricey.

Bangor-on-Dee 15:00.
200 yards out with a jump to go is a bit early to be smashing the 1.01 button. Shabalko Dherm makes up a couple of lengths to get up on the line by a neck. £3k traded at the minimum.

The Phantom strikes during the day this time. Must have the afternoon off work.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Thu Nov 06, 2025 10:19 pmI regret to say I now see what it was. The phantom smash-in-the-price-of-a-late-withdrawal-to-try-and-shift-out-the-price-of-the-real-winner struck again and this time left with the gold!jamesedwards wrote: ↑Thu Nov 06, 2025 8:23 pmChelmsford 20:15; £100s put up for the clear winner all the way up to 1.15 half a furlong out. What was all that in aid of? What did people see?
Sedgefield 13:24, late non-runner and odds on fav Lunar Orbit gets smashed into 1.01 as the clear leader approaches the line.

Punchestown today;
Centre of Attention ran as Don't Tell Jack in the 12:30.
Both trained by the same trainer. Placed 7th and weighed in.
Fortunately someone finally noticed the swap before the 14:10 race and Centre of Attention was subsequently withdrawn.

They only realised an hour later when they scanned in Centre of Attention to be saddled for the 14:10 race and realised it was Don't Tell Jack.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Thu Nov 13, 2025 3:51 pmPunchestown today;

YCMIU!
Prior to the running of the fifth race, the Raceday Stewards withdrew Centreofattention, trained by E. Bolger, as the horse presented to the IHRB for scanning after saddling as Centreofattention was in fact Don’t Tell Jack, also trained by E. Bolger. It subsequently became apparent that the horse Centreofattention had participated in the second race and not the declared horse Don’t Tell Jack, finishing unplaced. The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr. Frank Berry, Authorised Representative for E.Bolger, M.P. Walsh, rider, Joan Taylor, IHRB Veterinary Officer and James Casey, IHRB Veterinary Assistant. Since the winner alright had been signalled following the second race, the Raceday Stewards were unable to take any further action in relation to that race, and referred the entire matter onto a Senior Racing Official for further investigation. Mr. J. Collins and Mr. C.J. O'Reilly recused themselves from this enquiry.
