It did look like it was coming strong the take the race. Are you using drone?
... automation/data needs a 'tweak' as it was still placing 'back' bets on Spike Jones when it wasn't going to win
... which 'drone' service do you use if you don't mind me asking ?
There's only one main drone feed, but different ways of getting it. I get mine direct from the source which is the lowest latency, but pricey.

Bangor-on-Dee 15:00.
200 yards out with a jump to go is a bit early to be smashing the 1.01 button. Shabalko Dherm makes up a couple of lengths to get up on the line by a neck. £3k traded at the minimum.

Punchestown today;
Centre of Attention ran as Don't Tell Jack in the 12:30.
Both trained by the same trainer. Placed 7th and weighed in.
Fortunately someone finally noticed the swap before the 14:10 race and Centre of Attention was subsequently withdrawn.

They only realised an hour later when they scanned in Centre of Attention to be saddled for the 14:10 race and realised it was Don't Tell Jack.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Thu Nov 13, 2025 3:51 pmPunchestown today;

Prior to the running of the fifth race, the Raceday Stewards withdrew Centreofattention, trained by E. Bolger, as the horse presented to the IHRB for scanning after saddling as Centreofattention was in fact Don’t Tell Jack, also trained by E. Bolger. It subsequently became apparent that the horse Centreofattention had participated in the second race and not the declared horse Don’t Tell Jack, finishing unplaced. The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr. Frank Berry, Authorised Representative for E.Bolger, M.P. Walsh, rider, Joan Taylor, IHRB Veterinary Officer and James Casey, IHRB Veterinary Assistant. Since the winner alright had been signalled following the second race, the Raceday Stewards were unable to take any further action in relation to that race, and referred the entire matter onto a Senior Racing Official for further investigation. Mr. J. Collins and Mr. C.J. O'Reilly recused themselves from this enquiry.
Hi,
Apologies if this goes to the wrong place on the forum. This is my 1st post after recently subscribing to Bet Angel after a few years backing and laying on Betfair and testing out various Betfair trading software. I'm still a bit of an amateur when it comes to automation.
I'm trying to set an automation rules backing to lay front runners and laying to back hold up horses both 10 seconds before the off. I can get the automation rules working ok and if the price moves in my favour and triggers the offset with greening, I'm winning quite often about 30% of my stake. The problem comes when the price moves against me and doesn't trigger the offset with greening so I lose my full stake when this happens.
I've tried putting a trailing stoploss on the initial back or lay bet but this seems to automatically trigger a second or 2 in-play for a 30% loss without giving my offset bet a chance to trigger, I've heard on one of the tutorial videos you cant take a trailing stoploss in-play? Has anyone got any tips on how I can set up my automation to take a % loss of my full stake if the price goes against me but still gives my initial offset bet with greening a chance to trigger? Much appreciated for any help or advice, cheers, John.

The issue with trying to green up in-play on a horse race is there is a second delay between the bet trigger and it hitting the market. In that second the market can move significantly and you'll find that often your trades won't match, and the mechanics of the exchange mean the trades that match will be the poorer value while the trades that don't match will be the good value ones.JAC12345 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 13, 2025 7:29 pmHi,

Perhaps investigate lowering your up-front stake but letting the bet ride no matter what. Not only does this negate the greening in-play problem but it should also return a higher ROI in the long run also because you won't be blindly greening up and giving away value.

Syosset - 120 BSP winner
In-running carnage.
The usual at Dundalk, I guess.
