Pleased that Cheltenham goes ahead as it's the best chance of a decent result today.

Can't argue with profits this week considering the reduced volume of racing and no flat, but then I've been lucky with a few big results. I'm already longing for the flat season. Seriously considering shutting down from nov to march in future and limiting my profit to come in under the higher tier fees threshold.

Very rough top-line impact:
Full year = c.£180k GP = c.£110k after fees = c.£90k after costs.
7 months = c.£99k GP = c.£78k after Expert Fee = c.£65k after costs.

Such a shame that the Expert Fee structure incentivises reduced activity in this way. Something to think about.
