Can't argue with profits this week considering the reduced volume of racing and no flat, but then I've been lucky with a few big results. I'm already longing for the flat season. Seriously considering shutting down from nov to march in future and limiting my profit to come in under the higher tier fees threshold.
Very rough top-line impact:
Full year = c.£180k GP = c.£110k after fees = c.£90k after costs.
7 months = c.£99k GP = c.£78k after Expert Fee = c.£65k after costs.
Such a shame that the Expert Fee structure incentivises reduced activity in this way. Something to think about.

Be honest i prefer the Jumps as i find these work better with certain rule triggers and more time to sharpen a rule. Best trades are when the Rag as Late John McCririck use to say goes opening up a crazy lead early, those Trades are super great, you could also tell if certain horses on my 50 inch tv in my office are jumping terribly or the smooth mover which is a nice back to lay. But Volume and that agreed very weak, but the Hennessey isn't far off and the Mullins, Skelton, Nichols camps will be off proper. I heard Mullins is going to go for a all card, if i find out when i will post because he isn't going to do a Barney Curley and announce it and make the Bookmakers on edge of the day
Word gets round in Ireland fast , my bosses brother trains flat horses in Ireland but on flat.

All four horses go well odds-on at some point during the Fontwell 15:17.
