Connecting an Automated No-Code/Low-Code Bot to Betfair API
Hi all, does anybody know if there's an issue with connecting a bot from a low-code/no-code automation site, for example n8n, to the Betfair API? I have a few strategies I'm wanting to look at, although admittedly not on sports trading (otherwise I'd use Bet Angel!!). Is this something we're allowed to do? Do Betfair allow it, for example? Any challenges I might run into?
You can connect tools like n8n to the Betfair API if you apply for API access through Betfair and pay for the appropriate level. The free data access is very limited and not suitable for anything automated or frequent. Full API access requires a fee and approval under their developer terms.
Thanks for this, much appreciated. Would the free level access be good enough to conduct a PoC with? I’m guessing you probably don’t have enough info about what I’d like to do to be able to adequately answer this question?
