Euler isn’t Peter & Peter isn’t Euler, but Peter’s name on this forum is Euler… hope that helps! Tbf, when I first figured it out I thought it was something no one else knew.

I only recently discovered it's pronounced 'Oiler' and not 'Yooler' as I always thought.

It's always a good test of who has a maths background.

I got into a 'discussion' with somebody about trading. He was convinced it was all a load of BS and used the line, "but I've got a doctorate in maths, and I know what I'm talking about". But of course, he mispronounced it, so I knew he didn't have a doctorate.

I tend to name my alias after famous mathematicians. I'm in awe of what they achieved with just rudimentary tools and their mind. It's boggling when you read about it.

I too used to think it was pronounced Yooler, until one day when Peter used it during a conversation we were having (even then I didn't immediately click what he meant when he said 'Oiler' :) - then the penny dropped and he explained who Oiler was)
