Peter has just published a video on this infamous saga from back in 2007 where moneysavingexpert forumites spunked £1000s dutching all selections on a 1st goalscorer market. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYX_v3cT9fg

I've always wanted to review the full MSE thread but it was deleted years ago. Today, spurred on by Peter's video, I finally tracked the whole thing down on WaybackMachine.

The 3 funniest forum threads I remember from back then were this one, the Mumsnet "Husband wants to take me up the Oxo Tower" and the AV Forums Watercooled PC one. All classics
