Peter has just published a video on this infamous saga from back in 2007 where moneysavingexpert forumites spunked £1000s dutching all selections on a 1st goalscorer market. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYX_v3cT9fg

I've always wanted to review the full MSE thread but it was deleted years ago. Today, spurred on by Peter's video, I finally tracked the whole thing down on WaybackMachine.

Hard to believe it was nearly 20 years ago.

I remember following that forum and it was kinda like ok penny has dropped for this one....and this one....this one still thinks he's up 2 grand :lol: Closely followed by "It's BF's fault" "It's 3rd party software fault" It's everyones fault but my own, pretty much :roll:

My favourite part was all the comments that 'gambling contracts are unenforceable so you'll be right'. I bet they would have been singing a different time if BF decided to void their winning bets (not that they had any!)
