It's hilarious this morning watching how completely deluded everybody is in each individual party.

Where policies are quite clearly missing the mark. Some of the MPs have doubled down by saying that what they need is more of the same but more aggressively. Others are saying what a victory it is that they achieved some landmark or other, whether it be losing fewer seats than possible or other parties not gaining as many. It's just ridiculous.

As kids they are brought up that they never lose. They take that philosophy with them into their political career.

Starmer's response to the election results

The five Green-voting areas where a Reform government could open migrant detention centres.

Norwich, Waltham Forest, Hackney, Lewisham and Hastings

... sounds like a good idea to me ✔️💡

I do wonder what will happen if Starmer goes. We could lurch into a bigger problem.

The bond markets are discounting a bit of an unravelling.

... Labour Party are 'damned if they do' and 'damned if they don't'

Labour Party and Starmer have lost total credibility

Looking like an 'early' election

One of the pundits said:

"If they replace Keir Starmer, it'll be like the Labour party have just soiled their pants and only changed their hat."

Dr Q Manivannan MSP, who uses they/them pronouns, was elected to the Scottish Parliament at last week's election.

Since then, many social media users have falsely questioned whether the PHD student – who is on a student visa and isn’t a UK citizen – could legally stand, sending them hateful messages and abuse in the process.
“I am a Commonwealth citizen and am currently on a student visa which will expire later this year. Having passed my grant-funded PhD and viva, I am able to work full time.
How on earth can somebody who isn't even a citizen of a country become an MP? That just seems completely mental to me. I realise people can be resident in a country and so on, but surely there has to be a hard limit in terms of who can make decisions about the citizens of a country.

Makerfield MP to step down to let Andy Burnham a route into Parliament. But Labour don't have a massive majority in that seat, so he could be dive-bombed.

Interesting times.

Reform have a chance to finish off Labour once and for all by beating Andy Burnham in the Makerfield seat.

Imagine if Andy Burnham gets blocked again by Labour trying to stand in the seat by some technicality....

Conservatives need to stand down to give Reform a chance.
