All it needs now is for the BBC or ITV to offer to host a head to head (no pun intended) debate between the candidates.

That would definetly put him in a awkward no win situation
I think Farage would bite the hand off for that opportunity. 30+ mins of prime-time TV to debate the benefits of Reform, effectively unopposed. And everyone would be watching for the craic!
I'm not so sure he would have an easy ride, once you know who is behind Binface. Very astute, intelligent and politically switched on

I think he might actually give Farage a hard time
However it plays out it's going to be fun!

His credits include some of the biggest satirical TV shows of the last thirty years, including The Thick Of It. Farage vs Malcolm Tucker would be a good watch.

Aside from the politics I hope the people of Clacton have a sense of humour. Seeing Binny make a maiden speech in the house would be priceless.

Already green on this :)

In a two horse race I doubt the right can out vote the public's sense of humour.
This will be the test of what British values are.

The main reason I want him to win is to demonstrate to Americans what democracy means, it's not just the right to choose, it's the ability to stand and be chosen (without needing a multimillion dollar battle fund).

Only a Labour supporter could come to that conclusion 😈 😈

I'm not a Labour supporter but I completely agree with Shaun.

There's always been high regard for satire, irreverence and pinpricking the balloons of the pompous in the British psyche - you only have to look at our humour - Monty Python, The Goons, Blackadder - to name a few.

I think it would be a triumph for true Britishness if Binface was voted in. I have my fingers crossed

Unfortunately I've seen quite a few interviews with Clacton residents since, whose average age is about 30% higher than most constituency's, and teeth per jaw looks to be about 30% lower. It's no accident Farage picked Clacton to campaign in.......

It's a generous interpretation of the phrase "trading ONLY tread", but I think that insight can be taken as another vote for Binny.
