Hi all,
There is little chance of Farage ever becoming PM ,and my early predictions of a hung parliament are now becoming less likely .I think we are witnessing the demise of Reform ,and a surge for labour support,although in reality there is very little difference between them .

Some interesting facts there but at the end of the day it shows us how bad the world has become if people are so desperate they risk their lives to get to the UK .

The only reason I can see why they take such risk to reach the UK is the language. Perhaps English being the primary global language has become a double-edged sword?

You could be right about that.I think another thing could be visibility . It's easy to see people coming in on dingy's but in places like Italy ,Germany and France ,it's just a case of getting over the land borders.I asked for a comparison with Italy and got this:
