Hi, I know affordability checks can happen depositing a large amount of money, but if I wanted to withdraw a lot of money, would this also prompt checks or not? Thanks

Difficult to know really. In the current stupid climate of bookmaker/exchange mentality anything is possible. Is the withdrawal for a lot more than you usually make or is it a result of a large win?

I've heard stories mainly about bookmaker punters having a large win and the bookmaker then asking for an affordability check before payout!

Some operators may have the mentality that if you're withdrawing a large sum you may be in desperate need of it.

Maybe others on here may have recent experience and be able to advise you better.

I've never had any issues. I always keep withdrawals below £10k but I don't know if that makes any difference.
