There was a time when lots of people thought a certain Christiano Ronaldo was a waste of a good pair of football boots!

And I wonder whether Ferdinand is one of those guys like Beckham who isn't content to just be a footballer, but also wants to be a celebrity, which maybe takes some of his focus off the game.
I won't pretend that all is rosy in the garden, but people have written Man U off time and again over the years, only to be proven wrong...
