1. Terrestrial
2. Digital
3. SIS & Turf TV (Digital may be quicker than digital, not sure myself)
4. RUK
5. ATR
6. Online streams

I don't know how fast SIS is, but terrestrial broadcasts, (while we have them), are faster than digital, and RacingUK/ATR internet streaming is delayed by several seconds, :(

Got my 2nd TV installed in the week with the lack of racing and did a 'rough' comparison today:

ATR v Terrestrial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xZQSIh4CLE

and

RUK v Terrestrial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUKBWkd5B4k

ATR is slow, i have always thought that. I hear SIS and Turf Tv are spot on but they are £6000 a piece to install in your tradeing rooms

Terrestrial beats both of them as I understand it so the video shows that RUK isn't far behind Turf TV as it isn't far behind Terrestrial, SIS is a big advantage over ATR but still doesn't beat terrestrial.

For Betfair to even use the word live is a joke.

I've had subscriptions to online and digital RUK and ATR and both are delayed by anything up to 10 seconds.

I use Betfair live video and there is no delay for me at all. Not sure why this is as I've heard lots of people say that there can be a significant delay.

betfair live video is good, apart from the small screen size.

my problem with it is that you have to click again after having a bet matched otherwise it won't kick in on it's own.

live video via the net is probably the future - they just need to get a few issues sorted.

Live video is pretty good, certainly ahead of a satellite feed.

I answered this in a a previous post here TV delay. Please remember the results I showed are a little out of date now but they're close enough. You can get SiS at home but you cannot get Turf TV unless you are a licensed bookmaker.

Betfair live video now about 10 seconds delay, gone from pretty good to rock bottom.

looks like betfair is back to the 1 sec delay, first race I watched today was 11 secs so be aware of inconsistencies
