So it was originally settled at SP correct?

A trader I am chatting to did exactly the same on a couple of runners. All his bets that were take sp bets have been voided and no longer exist.

Something isn't right if they are treating different people's bets that are the same differently.

There is no such thing as a keep SP bet?

There is a take SP bet and a Keep bet but they are 2 totally different thing.

I know about the impact of the withdrawal on take sp bets but as any take sp bets should have been matched at sp they have now been voided as they no longer exist.

I had lots of sp bets, they have voided them all.
I have never had such a mess of a market in all my trading career.
The only saver for me is I have 2 big greens Mikhal Glinker & Makani Ginksy. But best case is £250 red. My evening out is now on hold. I have to stay in and sort out this f****** mess.
The snotty little C*** on the Betfair joke line would get knocked out if he spoke to me like that in a pub.

Whatever.... my bets have been converted to BSP due to the withdrawal of Fox Hunt which is exactly what I'd expect them to do. I've yet to see betIDs completely disappear from betfair's audit trail but I'll have to take your word for it.

Go to the my account section on the website and look at the Betting History section. It should be there somewhere just play around changing the Bet status, probably be under voided or cancelled.

The race hasn't run yet so you've no idea what you're final pnl's gonna be as they'll be probably be more nr's and odds will shift from where they are now

Peter and Spreadbetting having thought about it I have figured out how your bets have been matched and why your bets have been converted to BSP bets. Don't take this the wrong way and I don't say it in a smug way, but how Betfair have treated your bets is correct.

I will refrain from explaining why as it will risk giving away an edge I use, hope you understand.

Not sure what you mean about the Betfair ID's disappearing from Betfair's audit trial? I didn't say they do, did I?

I wouldn't put any faith in IBAS, chuck, Betfair have told you the persistance was never changed before the bet was matched and IBAS are likely to take their word for it.

If IBAS did rule in your favour they'd take in account the final outcome rather than treating it as one bet i.e. they'd take into account the fact you made other bets to cover yourself and compensate accordingly. You've little option other than levelling the field

How could anyone accuse you of smugness, Andy, luckily we'll all be able to sleep at night now knowing Betfair did the right thing

Wouldn't expect you to explain, probably above our heads anyway and if it involves moving the bet out of harms way to decide whether to cancel or not depending on the result it's best you don't.

I guess I misinterpreted that line you made.
