I have the video of this. I was on the right one for a change. I backed the 2nd fav as opposed to laying the fav. The fact he looked iffy at the start helped me a bit.

I have the Market Overview chart along with the BF charts for top 4 runners in the same screen/monitor. Simply hit the PrintScreen button to capture them.

Have this on video, will stick it up later. I think fav was streaming regardless, this just helped a bit :)

Did my Mrs ask you to say that? :D
She's gone shopping, I'm bored so thought I had better make a few quid. I have a few biking trips coming up later in the month so will be taking some time off.

I rode this for something like 9 ticks and went off to make a cup of tea. If only I'd stayed! Never mind, it's a Sunday anyway

The pair of the day in the 2:50 Claim Stks at Wolv.

I wasn't sure about which way this was headed.

Could some of you share how easy or hard you found this trade please (on a scale of 1 to 10, easy to hard)?

Very big moves here in the 3:20 Hcap at Wolv.

I wasn't sure what was causing it until I heard the commentators after the race finished that there was a gamble underway.

Dumb desk traders like myself just watch and wonder until the news is finally out.

Just bugs you immensely to miss some of the greatest opportunities of the day.

Why should it?

Ultimately, you can control process, not outcome. Great trends are only obvious in the rear view mirror... :)

No worries.

In the words of trend following legend Larry Hite:

'There are just four kinds of bets. There are good bets, bad bets, bets that you win, and bets
that you lose. Winning a bad bet can be the most dangerous outcome of all, because a
success of that kind can encourage you to take more bad bets in the future, when the odds
will be running against you. You can also lose a good bet, no matter how sound the underlying
proposition, but if you keep placing good bets, over time, the law of averages will be working
for you.'

Don't beat yourself up SW, I was waiting for it to stall and the fav go into hyperdrive. I was lucky to leave the market with my underwear intact.
Jeff has it right, hindsight is a beautiful thing. It could only happen on a Monday afternoon at Wolves - normal rules do not apply there
