Quite possibly one of the best trades you will see this year.

Was this runner playing up in the paddock? I don't have pictures today. I was kicking myself for exiting early just before the drift happened, the 40k order didn't seem to be what sparked it either.

EDIT; I didn't get on the drift because I just couldn't see what would make it continue. Any pointers?

I couldn't see anything in particular that set it off, but I tend to be counter trend so was ready to catch it. Saw the 40k and had my finger ready for the next move, which was up, but it just didn't stop. Amazing.

Thanks for the quick reply, I saw the 40k but felt reluctant to oppose it as it had appeared earlier a few ticks higher. Was that you that took a huge chunk of it in one go?

Looking forward to your course also!

The 5:35 Hcap at Sails.

Not quite the Chart or Trade of the day stuff, but a good example of reversals and tell tell signs of strong support.

Notice the pattern of the chart on Ladder 3. Steep downward moves (like steps in a staircase) accompanied with heavy volume (big money pushing it down). Usually mid-priced Hcaps are muddled up and a bit difficult to read, but when I saw that this runner on ladder 3 was overlapping with runner 2 on the Market Overview screen, it became clear where the price of the runner on ladder 2 was headed.

Waht an opening to the day in the 1:50 MdnStks at Ling.

The drift happened in the last 2 mins and the sharp reversal happened in 30 secs of post time.

Beat me to it, we are seeing some strange charts in the market recently.

Missed the quick drift (late by 1 tick) but caught the reversal in this 3:25 Listed at Newbury.

Seemed more like a Mdn Stks from Nottingham than a Listed from Newbury. The markets are on fire today :D

Mental stuff Switesh, I've pulled some of my best and worst results out of the bag today from these swinging markets! Interesting to see if it continues

After a terrible start...Lady Nouf was a dream....jumped on it and rode it up out at 4's...then was ready to give a bit of profit back to take the risk back down as it turned...and for once didnt get cocky or greedy....gonna take a walk to calm down my excitement so I dont give it all back :D

...and here's what the continuation looks like (4:20 Hcap at Sand).

Caught the double tops.
