I use MS Paint. It's basic, but does the job! :)

herbie wrote:well done PeterLe... I hope you got it twice and greened on the way :D ... What caused it, do you know?
Well in fairness I didn't catch it as much as I'd have liked to!
You see these spikes on lots of races but they are hard to catch.
A lot of them are caused by cross matching. Although when Ive looked at the cross matching algorithm I cant see how it can work on odds above 100? maybe if there is a mathematician out there they can put me straight on that one please?
Hi Peter,
After spending a while analysing the in-play markets I think it is actually people greening up rather than cross matching. Most likely redding up though :D

This was a nice trade. Somebody was trying to hold the price at 2.00 with a lot of money, but they couldn't and the price sprung out.

This was amazing, backed in heavily for ages then abruptly stopped and the price then flew out!

Grossly underpriced, poor draw, usually held up on a course that favours front runners, and came 9th.

This was a remarkable graph from the last race at Ascot today. Must admit, this caught me on the hop.

Hi
This is a different type of chart that what we are used to on this thread, but worth a mention..

This the last race at Limerick in play. If you can create a lay to back (repeatably), on this type of market, it can soon rack up the profits.
This one returned just over ten times my stake (fully green).

Regards
Peter

This is the type of graph that catches me out a lot, I always conclude that the reversal is temporary and that it'll coming steaming back in again.

Nice graph pre-off on this one "Rare Coincidence".
Sometimes you just have to leave the favourites alone and get involved with these. I think I started about 140 but I was scratching on the way up. around 220, i saw 50 quid of support and filled my boots with a big fat 15 pound back! It didn't come anywhere but it was an easy few quid for the risk involved knowing "the market" had took on 65 quid at 200+

A trade of diverging awesomeness! :D

No huge moves granted, but first time I've not been caught out by tiny field races, so I'm pleased!

Amazing to see such big moves on the first race of the day.

Waited all day for a trade like this. After a dodgy afternoon back on the up in the evening.
