I didn't see the game.as I'm stuck in the middle of no where. However I read the report on the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/tennis/23217393 and the most.amazing thing is they said it's 40 degrees! Is that right or they just getting carried away with the moment?
Well, Murray did it! Straight sets as well!
Nole's serve wasn't working at all , and he made a lot of unforced errors. Clearly the tough 5-setter in the previous Del Potro match had had its effect on Nole. He was flat. Whereas, Murray was firing on all cylinders. The end result is that Murray was able to comprehensively outplay him.
Note for the future: Whenever someone plays a tough tennis match and doesn't get the proper rest, they always say it won't affect them, and always it does...the next game, they are always flat. So never believe it when a tennis player has a tough 5-setter and says they can recover quickly: you can be fairly sure it will have sapped their energy and taken the edge off them.
Savvy punters and traders should have seen this one coming.
