I was just trading the 14:55 `Thirsk. I had a small green and took a lay bet in play (intentionally!)

I wasnt watching the race so not sure why it jumped in the first couple of sec's..that was strange too.
Made a good chunk off that!

Commentator had no negative comments about this runner so I failed to understand why I took a beating trying to back it right at the top.

Where were you big traders? No support??

Just a bit of banter by the way, I was with you scalping all the way on that one. Just found it funny that you both posted it at the same time.

Peter mentions on his blog today about getting matched hard but volumes remain high. You may find something in that.

Massive Drifter in this 6:35 Hcap at Bath.

I was suffering 8 loses in a row and then caught this drift to recover.

Charts like the Goodwood ones make me laugh. Can the market really, accurately, be a reflection on the horses chances when it flys around like that? And to think that bookies are payings 10k's for this sort of information to Betfair.

I tired to lay that one on 2 attempts and didn't get matched. Just didn't feel like chasing that speed-jet once it was off.

Here's an annoying one from Bath very similar to the one Peter posted earlier. Annoyed the heck out of me.

Tried to get it early on and missed it twice. Then there's just no point chasing it.

That was a really strange spike (got stung badly chasing it), but notice there's no volume behind it.

The 2:14 Nov Hrd at Newton Abbot.
