Premier League 2013/14
Transfer rumour:
Arsenal could miss out on two of their targets, Willian and Yohan Cabaye.
Willian is said to be bound for Tottenham (the Bale deal is almost done, though AVB is tight-lipped about it); while Newcastle have rejected Gunners' "derisory" £10m bid for Yohan, there has been no improved bid yet. And PSG is on the lookout and ready to splash £20m.
Nothing. Nada for Arsenal so far. Though Wenger remains confident.
“We are a bit short now but I don’t worry. Less than two weeks until the transfer window closes is a long time and 75 per cent of things happen in the last 10 days.”
He's a bit of a crammer, don't you think?

Jose Mourinho makes cheeky jibe at Tottenham over Willian medical

'That is the danger of a medical before a contract, but sometimes if you do the contract and the medical after, you can have a problem signing a player with problems. So you have to do the medical before but the best thing to do is do the medical in secret.' - the ego
More like he's giving Tottenham a tip for the next transfer. Haha.

100 Million.
Its astonishing isn't it how an asset can potentially be home grown and rise to a sum of money such as that..
No wonder Man City are investing for the future:-

They only need one player to be developed and sold in the future and they have covered their costs...

Gareth Bale shirt will be sold around 80 to 100 euros to the public ( it may be the number 11 )...Usually the return on shirts is around between 500 to 700 % of the actuall costs, that does not includes advirtising and other costs!PeterLe wrote:100 Million.

Now if 10% of welsh population buy the Gareth bale shirt, real madrid already covered 30 million euros, then you have real madrid supporters, world football collectionist, asian supporters...etc etc...I think real madrid to get such a loan from the spanish banks, they may have done their maths right!!
