I was walking in the Trafford Shopping Center not long ago and I saw I lad I thought I recognised from School…as he walked past I said "Alright" and nodded and he nodded back and said "Yea not bad"…
As I got another five yards I realised it was Paul Scholes…I felt a right plonker! ha ha! :D

Bit surprised Southampton have only drifted to 1.78 against Villa tonight, I'm fully expecting them to be nearer Evens come kick-off

Villa seem far more productive on their travels, and Saints are without their GK Boruc. Tonight Gazzanaiga is in goal, and he still has much to learn

I'm sure there will be a further drift on Saints later

Amazed to see Saints now back in to 1.74

Even as a Saints fan, I think people are grossly overreacting to the start they have had.

I'd happily lay them at 1.74....and have!

No Benteke for Villa, priced in this afternoon?

Was going to say I don't think you'll see a better hatrick than Suarez tonight, but your very unlikely to see a better four goals by a player.

I liked this tweet by Gary Linekar this evening:

"Yowzer! Everton have gone ahead against Manchester United. David Moyes might finally see Everton win at Old Trafford."

Too true, too true...

This press conference was interesting: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25219878

Asked how he's feel if United scored against Everton, Moyes gave a politicians' answer, saying he hadn't thought about it. That sums up his negativity. He should have said, 'I will be delighted. Why wouldn't I be? I am with United now, and I am 100% behind the team'.

They can't afford to lose any more games if they want to win the title, so I think it's quite possible their chance has pretty much gone now.

Yep.

We're heavily odds on to beat Newcastle on Sunday, but I'm tempted to lay United.

Moyes's body language and words make him come across like a defeated man, and I imagine that will spill over into team morale. Also, what's to say that he won't leave some of his best players on the bench, like he did last night?

Rumour has it that Moyes will have £50 -60M transfer budget in January. A lot could sepend on how/if he spends it.
