Minor Bug - failing to update balance

Very minor...

In an attempt to maximize the performance of Guardian, I tried unticking the 'refresh every' option on the main BA screen (obviously not on Guardian).

Guardian still works fine, and all cells, apart from C6 (Balance) are updated.

And I still haven't had one piece of feedback as to whether BA plan on introducing an option to only update a race after it goes in-play or whilst it is shown as in-play.

It's not a bug. The balance is updated but to save data calls it is not updated every second. Check after around ten - fifteen seconds and you should see the balance is updated.

You will see the same within the main application.

I'm not aware of any plans to introduce an option as you describe.

Nope - I went back and checked after about 5 hours. All the spreadsheets (opened by Guardian) had the same balance shown (the balance from that morning). The BF website showed the correct balance. I turned on the refresh (and set it to 1 minute) on the main BA app, and from that point, the balance on the Guardian sheets were updated.

As I said, not hughely significant, but it was a way to raise the subject of my most desperately desired feature request (only refresh whilst in-play).


But now at least I have confirmation - it's not anywhere on the to-do list. Ho hum.

Thanks for the clarification. I don't mind how far down the list. Whilst it's on the list, there's always hope.

For the time being, probably best to just leave the 'Refresh every' option ticked, but slow down the refresh rate to 10 secs or slower.

Thanks - will do. I'm just doing the equivalent of emptying the *ashtray to get every last drop of speed from my Formula 1 car...
