Come on OT - Giggs is older than Fergie!!Online Trader wrote:Giggs being touted as a "temporary" measure if they get rid of Moyes before the season ends.

I reckon Moyes will end up at 1 of these clubsEuler wrote:Giggs have a look around the desk by the sound of it. Wonder where Moyes will turn up?
A) Celtic - former player, and I expect Lennon to jump ship to PL soonish
B) Newcastle - Pardew is on thin ice after their terrible form and his headbutt
C) Aston Villa - Villa have been poor, especially at home, and the recent sackings of Lambert's backroom staff is a worrying sign for him
D) Southampton - I expect Pochettino to be in demand this summer and with only 12 months of his contract to run will probably leave
I reckon Celtic will be his 1st choice, as he will definitely win trophies there and that will repair some damage to his reputation
Newcastle and Villa are 2 big clubs with big support and a massive history - very much in the mould of Everton, so they are jobs that would appeal
Southampton are a long shot, as he may see the club as being too small to rebuild his managerial career

A sad day i imagine for the majority of british football fans. Its been an enjoyable 10 months whilst it lasted
wishing giggs the best in his temp position to hopefully convince the board hes the man for the job.

The players didnt want him from the beginning...he didnt have a chance from day one...they should take the blame, also Fergie is very responible.
And money wont buy the club out of this situation..
I would have Moyles at Newcastle any day, at the moment. Man U can have Pardew..he's got 'premiership experience'.
Welcome to the manager merry-go-round Man U fans..welcome to mid table.

Paddy Power have Howard Webb at 500/1

that'd be one way to get special treatment from refs back
they'll be trying to buy their way back into the top 4 with £100m+ in the summer but it might not be that easy.
the first thing they should do is ban Ferguson from matches - it couldn't have helped Moyes knowing that big red face was watching his every move from the stands.
am glad to see them fall from grace - they certainly won't be boycotting the FA Cup next season.

From what has emerged since Moyes was sacked, I think morale would have remained rock bottom had Moyes stayed. For that reason alone, Moyes's position was untenable.
It sounds like some players were openly disrespectful to Moyes, as well as gossiping behind his back. I hope that those players are shown the door during the summer. The last thing the next manager needs is people undermining him.
