Well done Germany. Argentina no shots on target, difficult to win a match with a stat like that.

I'm pleased the Argies lost - appalling negative team, they would have ruined a good WC by winning

In 90mins, there was just 1 goal in 4 Argy matches from R16 - that doesn't deserve to win anything

don't agree with that Le Tiss, i thought Argentina played their part in an great final (they created 3 excellent chances with only the keeper to beat but unfortunately stuck them all wide).

compare that final to the 1990 cheat-fest and it's good to see that things have got better. 'thought the ref had a great game too and let it flow.

If Di Maria had of been fit then tactically Argentina would have got it spot on imo. As it was, they had no one to really help with attacking transitions hence Messi had to come too deep.
