I can kind of see where Jeff's coming from actually. I think a lot of novice traders are going to be caught out by applying some of the basic strategies mentioned in the videos, oblivious to the amount of work needed to find that long term edge. I know from experience that I was perhaps a little naive myself initially in thinking I'd found a relatively easy way of making small amounts of money from watching some of the early BA videos.
At the same time I don't see how Peter could really do much about this perception without giving away information that he basically has no reason to reveal. There's plenty of times I've heard Peter say in his videos something along the lines of "put a bit of science into it", almost encouraging users to delve a lot deeper but I guess a lot of novices are going to be clueless in how to go about doing so. It seems to be a very difficult balancing act in promoting the software but avoiding misleading people and I reckon Peter for the most part has it about right. I guess it's difficult to portray that you need to work your arse off to become profitable.
I think the videos are great personally and I'll always see if I can take anything I can out of them. The vlogs in particular are excellent, you've just got to learn to put each strategy in context.
